December 2016, Volume 9, Issue 2

December 2013 we wrote,
“What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.” — Nelson Mandela

We are trying to make such a difference through EJOLTs by developing our democratic ways of creating together and sharing accounts of living-theory research and projects. We hope as you engage with the contents you find something of use in your own endeavours to contribute to the flourishing of humanity and feel inspired to work with us to create and contribute an account of your own living-theory research to EJOLTs.

We are developing other opportunities for making public Living Theory research and projects in the form of living-posters. Curious? Visit the home page of the living-posters to see those already being offered and learn how to contribute your own.
Finally, there are two conferences that members of our community are helping to organise. In June there is the 1st Global Assembly for Knowledge Democracy and in October the 42nd annual conference of the ATEE (Association for Teacher Education in Europe). We hope that you might be able to have a presence at these, and other conferences, through your living-poster even if you are not able to participate in person.
