Sadruddin Bahadur Qutoshi
I am currently Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Development (DED), Karakorum International University, Gilgit, Pakistan. To me, as a transformative living-educational-theorist, the aim of education is not only building knowledge and skills necessary to face the challenges of life with respectable ways of living/earning but also enabling a human being to live a healthy balanced life, a life with embodied values of practice, which contributes.
My key interests, arising from the visions offered by my doctoral study (PhD, Educational Leadership, ‘Transformative Teacher Educator & Living-Educational Theorist’, Kathmandu University, Nepal, 2016), are: a holistic approach to teacher education: transformative leadership (as co-leading, co-evolving…); transformative curriculum (as an integrated curriculum, context and cognition, Curriculum and praxis, and curriculum as lived experience); transformative pedagogies (critical-creative pedagogies); transformative assessment (a process oriented authentic developmental assessment as an inclusive holistic approach); transformative research (using multi-paradigmatic research design space); ICT integration in teaching/learning and research practices; and ecological consciousness in education and research.
